REVOLUTIONARY WEBSITE EASES THE STRESS IN CHANGING BANKS

Switching banks is about to become much easier thanks to an innovative website, designed specifically for the consumer to simplify the process of changing banks.

The website www.switchbanks.com.au is independent of any banking or financial institution, and has been designed with the specific purpose of making the arduous task of changing banks a whole lot simpler.

The website is the innovation of Brisbane businessman Jayd Novello. Mr. Novello says the idea came to him simply out of long held frustrations at the difficulties involved in switching from one bank to another.

“I was fed up with all the hoops that I had to go through, to do something as simplistic as changing banks. I think that many people, as I did at the time, decide not to bother changing after looking at the procedures involved”, said Mr Novello.

He said “Given that so many people are used to banking online, I set about designing a website that not only supplied the user with valuable information but enabled them to initiate a change”.

Switchbanks differs from other banking sites. It allows the user to receive a response from the banks that they specifically select, providing the user with more choice and control.

Mr. Novello says “Switchbanks does not require any client banking information, and best of all, access to the Switchbanks website is totally free to the user”.

Switchbanks is currently negotiating with banking institutions and expects to have the site fully operational mid 2011.
